The chart below lists codes approved by the American Medical Association (CPT Codes) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (G and H Codes) to be used by healthcare practitioners for reimbursable SBIRT services.
SBIRT Billing and Reimbursement by State Tool is designed to help you determine whether billing codes are listed on a state’s fee schedule, and, if listed, whether or not they are open for reimbursement (i.e. a billing amount has been assigned to the codes).
