ALCOHOL USE DISORDERS IDENTIFICATION TEST (AUDIT)
The Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT) is one of the most accurate alcohol screen tests available. The test, consisting of 10 multiple choice questions, identifies the preliminary signs of hazardous drinking and mild dependence.
DRUG ABUSE SCREENING TEST (DAST-10)
The Drug Abuse Screening Test (DAST-10) consists of 10 yes or no questions. The test takes approximately 5 minutes to administer and may be given in either a self-report or interview format.

The Alcohol, Smoking and Substance Involvement Screening Test (ASSIST) can be used to detect and manage substance use and related problems in primary and general medical care settings.
The Center for Adolescent Substance Abuse Research Screening Tool (CRAFFT) is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics' Committee on Substance Abuse for use with children under the age of 21. It consists of a series of 6 questions developed to screen adolescents for high risk alcohol and other drug use disorders simultaneously.
